The Epiphany Continues…

So….Last week was insane. I had Kevin's Graduation (which I've already blogged about), A gyno appt, and a dentist appt.  Good news, no cavities.  My gyno gave me percocet this time as well as a high dosage of ibproferin to try. if things don't change drastically in the next 3 months i'm going to have to have surgery. my doctor says she doesn't see any other choice. 

Friday I left early for my dentist appointment then went home to work.  I went to Jeremy's later in the evening and made dinner and we watched Degrassi Season finale. It was sad…they graduated. i can't wait to see what they do next semester, but i'm afraid it won't hold my interest because my favorite characters are gone now.

Saturday, i got up and found a reipe to make for dinner at my parents house. The dinner was for their 16th year anniversary and Milt's birthday (on the same day).  I found a recipe for margaritta steak, citrus salsa, and i improvised and made a greek pasta salad and cucumber relish as well as steamed brocolli.  For dessert i made fruit cups. It was really good. My parents and Jeremy enjoyed it. I was shocked that Milt like any of it because none of it was boring bland food. It all had lot's of flavor.

i stayed at my parents house Saturday night then Sunday Jeremy and I went to see the DaVinci Code. It was good. pretty true to the book. Of course it skipped a few parts, but it would have been 5 hours long if it hadn't.  I enjoyed it greatly. After the movie we went home and i made dinner.  Angus steak burgers…they were yummy. After that i went home and worked until midnight.

I got up super early this morning because i have a class that started early this morning and lasts all day. this week is going to be absolutely insane. i have this class for three days all day and after that i have to  get my work done for the day. It is going to be late nights working at home. and to top it off my manager has scheduled a meeting at 7am on Wednesday. too early!

 well, gotta go now so that i can participate in this class…we are not supposed to use the PC's.

This is going to be short and sweet because it's late and i have to go to bed.

Work has been a nightmare this week. super stressful with no time to even get lunch or take a real break.  Today was Kevin's graduation (the favorite little brother). It was nice…over within 2 hours.  He has a girlfriend now. got to meet her. totally not what i expected. She was a cute girl, just very big. Honestly, i thought she might be pregnant, but i'm sure i was wrong on my initial assumption. She was really nice though. After the ceremony, we were taking pictures and Kevin was all sweaty…he got sweat all over Kim, then asked me to get into a picture with him and he said in my ear…i won't get sweat all over you because i like you the most. So sweet.  I'll post the pictures soon. i asked my parents to send them to me ASAP…there are some good ones. it's funny because kevin and i both have the fake smile for pictures.  our parents were telling us not to do that, but seriously, the pictures always turn out better with the fake smile…it really does look real

 now for the "awwwww". I was talking to Jeremy last night after i got home from work. He was driving home after golf. we always talk on tuesday nights   anyhow, he is going on travel next week in my place because i'm taking a class and he said am i even going to get to spend time with you before i leave? i said sure, i don't have any plans this weekend at all. he said, none at all??? and i said nope, wide open. he said well then we can go to the movies, maybe even a double feature, anything you want to see, or we could go tour the brewery, or go shopping, or whatever you want.  Then he was asking me to check the weather for the next couple of days so he could decide if he could ride the bike to work at all this week. i told him it was going to rain, but be nice this weekend. he could ride saturday morning if he wanted. he said, no i won't do that, i'd rather be with you even if you are just sleeping. i said ok cool…i was thinking awwww. his response…you could at least say awwwww…

Pay close attention…He looks nothing like David…nothing I tell you and he's a decendent of one of the Warner Brothers!

For all my devoted fans (can you feel the sarcasm?)…I visited Buffalo NY recently for work. I went with my manager for a conference.

 Buffalo NY has got to be the worst place i've ever visited. Even though there was great weather…It was yuck! We stayed at the Comfort Suites…while not a terrible chain, not quite the tyep of place i like to pick when i travel.  Parking was 2.5 blocks away…even more a reason I wouldn't typically stay there.  Can't complain too much, I mean the room was clean, but no air circulation, no room service, and no tv remote in the bedroom.  Also important to note…This hotel will have bugs soon!  When I checked in i was walking down the hallway to my room and there were two trays sitting in different places in the hallway. There was a TGI Fridays in the hotel and I guess you could get food to go on a tray. Well, you would think that the hotel would do a sweep to see if there was crusty trays sitting around, or that housekeeping might clean once a day…i guess not there.  So the two trays were still there an even crustier when i checked out the next day and of course still in the hallway. Can you say BUGS?!?!?! They will be coming I'm sure of it. Other things i didn't like about Buffalo…I didn't feel safe walking around at night, there was a bad odor and everything was really run down.

My mangler and I did go to the mall though. I helped her find a dress and we went in all sorts of stores…i think we shopped for like 3 hours. it was fun. I got to know her really well and I really like her. Consequently, she feels the same way about Buffalo…we are never going back unless it's under the pain of death.

The conference went well. It was pretty much a waste of our time, but it went well. Of course coming back home and going to work the next day was not cool. I was sooooo tired and so behind because my laptop didn't work while i was there. something with the ip address got messed up. It was not fun. I came back and my pc was down until around 12:30pm when Married Boy came up to fix it.

Wow…I have so much to catch up on. Wouldn’t be so much if I didn’t keep losing my data in wordpress. Oh well here goes nothing…

Easter Weekend

My last post was about married boy and it was just before Easter weekend so I’ll pick up there. 

Thursday

I went to Jeremy’s on Thursday night since we were both off work on Friday. He was off so that he could go home to visit his mom for Easter and I was off because I wanted a day off to go shopping.  We made dinner and hung out for a while. I took him an Easter Basket and he was totally shocked but loved it. I got lots of hugs and kisses for it.  I also gave him a card and for the first time instead of getting something totally sappy about how lucky I am to have him for a friend or some BS like that I got one in the romance section…it was funny though (also totally not like me…I don’t normally do funny cards). It had a bunny on the front and said “Honey, I’ve had Enough!” on the inside it said, “Now can I have some more?” I thought it was cute. He really liked it. In fact, it’s still on top of his refrigerator. We had an interesting conversation about married boy and the fact that Jeremy thought that he wanted me. I explained to him that he was married with a kid. He was totally shocked. I was amused at his reaction.  I ended up leaving his house around 11 because he was getting up at 6 the next morning to drive home and I was planning on sleeping in on my day off. I went up to my parents house (from his house) and finished reading The Devil Wears Prada. Great book…I recommend it to everyone. It is absolutely hilarious. I passed out shortly after that.

It is important to note that before I left, he tried to make me jealous or even pick a fight, I couldn’t figure out which. He said he thought he would look up and old friend when he was home. A girl that he used to hook up with that his ex wife wouldn’t let come to their wedding because she was so jealous of the relationship. I told him he should look her up and that he should try to maintain relationships with the people he went to school with. Then he said he might go out to a bar and would I be upset if he picked up a girl. I said, well there really isn’t anything that I can do about it is there? I really have no say in the matter. I wasn’t mad or smart about it…just said it matter of factly, then said ok, are you ready to walk me out?

Friday

I slept in. My mom and I went down to Lord  & Taylor’s around lunch time and I bought two new suits. One is light green and ties around the waste, the other is cream and I had been looking at the cream one for a long time. I got it for less than half price. Gotta love sales!!! We stopped at my house on the way back so I could feed Cami Kitten and get some more clothes because I only brought enough for one day. Then we went to Costco to pick up a few things then on to the Great Wall (Chinese) to pick up carryout.  The Great Wall is the place in my neighborhood and they have another location about 15 min from my parents house. It is 100% better than the Chinese you can get where they live. Fortunately they agreed with me when we got home and they tried it.  I didn’t eat right away because I had a migraine by the time we got back. I’m not sure what it was from, but I had it most of the weekend. I woke up around 8pm and ate dinner then watched Degrassi and Instant Star.  I played Pokemon Sapphire (I know I’m a dork) and passed out when Degrassi came on for like the 4^th time.

Saturday

Slept in again. It was so nice.  I didn’t even get showered until around 1.  Jeffe called me around 12:45 to see if I wanted to get coffee with him in downtown. I told him I was at my parents house and not showered so no. He said well, I’ll see you tomorrow anyways. He said he was coming over to my house on Sunday and staying until like 8pm or whenever he got tired. I told him I’d be home around 5 and would see him then.  I got showered and went to the outlet mall with my mom. I bought a new outfit at Liz Claiborne.  It is really cute. I even got a purse to match it   Went back to mom’s house and helped her make Chicken Marsala for dinner and bread pudding for dessert. I don’t think I did much of anything that night…oh yeah; I made my mom watch Wedding Crashers. She liked it.

Sunday

Slept in then showered and went to my great aunt’s house for Easter dinner. It was not fun. I was by far the youngest adult there and no one but my drippy 2^nd cousin who can’t even hold an adult conversation was even close to my age. He is like 10 years older than me, but more content with the kids and his 6 year old who acts like a baby she is so such a spoiled brat. I’m not just saying that either. She is a beautiful little girl, but I could never handle her…he and his mother is ruining the kid.  We left the dinner and I went home to an empty house. I hadn’t bought groceries in several weeks so I decided to go and get some things. I went and bought only stuff that I would eat and that I knew that Greg wouldn’t eat. Basically I’m finished buying food for him. He can start taking care of himself.  (I came to this conclusion because dumbass went out and bought himself and motorcycle. not to replace his car, but in addition to his car, and he didn’t even tell me. He is keeping at his parent’s house I think)

So there is Easter weekend. I did not hear from Jeremy all weekend and he was off work on Monday too. I’m going to post this now so that I feel like I at least got something accomplished on updating my blog

I've tried to update twice…got halfway through and the clicked save and lost all data. I will attempt to update tomorrow…typing in word then publishing since i seem to have bad luck any other way.

 Until tomorrow…
